After first term finals, Paul found himself at the top of his medical school class. He was so proud of himself and happy that he had a higher chance of getting into Harvard graduate school. As soon as he saw the results, he called his parents and told him about the great news. They congratulated him and to reward him for his hard work, they sent $10,000 to his bank account. Unlike normal students who spend all their money, he saved the money for to repay his parents after he graduated. Paul was very popular among his friends too. They liked him for his outgoing, fun, and optimistic personality. He wasn’t one of those boys who brag either. To everyone, it seemed as if he was having a perfect life and in fact, he was.
Two years later, it was his graduation day. Paul had been waiting for this day for such a long time. Ever since he saw his father going for a surgery to the hospital when he was 6 years old, he wanted to be a doctor. Now, he was even a step closer to his dream of being a doctor. Just like what he wanted to do, he gave his parents the money he had been saving too. He thanked his mom for supporting him for 22 years and his dad for holding onto his life for 16 years.
